... I'll have a scrapbook page done soon.
I am not sure why, but I got stuck into doing other things and I have been playing with my scrapbook supplies for a while. But tomorrow is NSC - National Scrapbooking Day - so I HAVE to do something. Maybe I'll do one of the pages I have been thinking of, maybe I'll get to complete one of the Studio Calico challenges, but I'll get something done this weekend. Promise.
In the meantime, I'll leave you with this week's PaperPlay Challenge.

Busy Day
Today is of course, PaperPlay day and Evonne set the challenge:
The butterfly is a MS punch, given by my CS 2008 Secret Santa - Jeanjeny, and the border punch is a new acquisition - the design is so fine I was afraid it was going to jam on me, but so far it is working beautifully, it punches through cardstock without a hitch.
The sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy.
Do check the blog and participate on the challenge, as the prize is beautiful. In fact, I suspect a number of the DT members considered resigning so that they could stand a chance of winning the prize. Hehehe.
Also, I have some new digi stamps on Mami Doodles, please take a look and let me know what you think!
"I'd like you to create a project without using any patterned paper.
Cardstock only can be used"
My first thought was to give my stamps an airing, maybe even one of my own digi images, and finish it with a ribbon. But then I decided to take the challenge literally and went instead for my punches.

Online crop, a layout and a project
Online crop this weekend at shimelle.com. There are great challenges and prize - I'm on a busy weekend but I'll try to burn the midnight oil and get something done.
This layout was for PaperPlay Challenges, Deirdre wants us to use stickers. I didn't think I had any besides letter stickers. Turns out I have a few I had completely forgotten about. I got them in Eason's, cute animal stickers. When I took them out, I realised they were transparent and would disappear against the pink paper, so I covered a bit with white gesso. Then I looked to white so I recovered the surface with masking tape.
I used a sketch by Paloma for Scrapidées, I loved the unusual, top-heavy schemme!
* Paper: Chatterbox
* Stickers: American Crafts (letters), withit (animals & word)
* Other: jute, gesso, masking tape
And my little project to commemorate the first MamiDoodles DT entries:
A great way to use paper scraps! Check the MamiDoodles DT fabulous projects here.
TFL!
