Two for the price of one

A little while ago, Isobel posted in the CS forum that one of her New Year's resolutions was to reduce her pile of unfinished layouts. I went tsk, tsk, you always must finish one LO before starting another.

Then I started tidying up my craft room, and had to eat my words (or thoughts). It turns out I have quite a number of unfinished layouts.

For the one above I had the photo, cardstock and patterned paper already chosen. I even had the flowers cut out. But I could't find a way to put everything together.

Then I went back to Eva's class in Scrapwest and found the missing inspiration. I rotated the LO, and one or other placement, but it is a close scraplift. Not a patch on the original but it is finished! As I already had done a LO inspired by the class' theme (see below), that's 2 for the price of one.

One creative thing a day...

Do one creative thing a day. That was one of my (many)New Year's resolution. This was last Tuesday's.

The lacy cardstock from KI Memories is so gorgeous I would be happy to only collect it but I finally was brave and used one of them...

New Year's resolutions/dreams

It's been a long time since I blogged, first my laptop started behaving really weird until I finally gave up and we got a new one. Between all the problems, taking holidays and finishing up my job, I really had little time. I'll try to be more consistent from now on.
Eva started the Scrapwest's Friday tutorials with a layout about resolutions. Her idea inspired me to make my own list of 2008's resolutions. Even though each one of them is simple and feasible, there were too many, so I decided to call them dreams instead of resolutions. If I at least make an effort towards these goals I'll end up a better person by the end of 2008. Cross the fingers!

This is a digital layout and the background is a brush from DesignFruit.
