When he started school in September, he discovered an interest for numbers. On occasions he'd actually ask for "sums", that is, easy addition and subtraction questions. And he says his favourite number is 199. He thinks it is hilarious to start counting 1, 2, 3.. and then to drop 199 in the middle of it. I am not implying that he is gifted or anything like that, just that he likes numbers. And that's cool.
Also cool is that 199 is a prime number.
Done for a Studio Calico challenge.

Fabulous photo and a great layout.
He likes reading, too, doesn't he? It's probably a little bit old for him yet, but http://www.amazon.co.uk/Essential-Modern-Classics-Phantom-Tollbooth/dp/0007263481 is a wonderful book for anybody who likes words, numbers or both. It's funny, I was only thinking of it the other day and that I might re-read it.
OK, so hyperlinks don't work.
